Last night, as I was watching The Biggest Loser, I came to a realization that you CAN eat healthy at restaurants. You just have to know what to look for. Also, most restaurants will give you their nutritional info, if you ask for it. It is all up to me. In my crazy life, I don't have time to prepare every meal from scratch in my own home. I eat out.
Last night was one of those crazy nights. I stopped at Panda Express. Right in front of me as I walked in, they have a sign showing the dishes that have 250 calories or less. Plus, instead of rice or noodles, they have an option of steamed veggies. So that is what I did. I had steamed veggies, with broccoli beef and fiery pineapple chicken. I think my total for that whole meal was about 6-700 calories. It is not something I would do every day, but it could have been a 1200 calorie meal. I feel a little better about that.
